Walnut Ridge is a quality childcare center and preschool program designed to support the whole family. We offer a play-based curriculum focused on providing unique opportunities. We believe the most fun happens outdoors and that kids should have an environment to simply be kids.
Empowering Children
We are a full day childcare and preschool program serving families with children ages birth through 12 years old. Our programs range from a nurturing infant classroom to a summer camp full of fun for your school-age child.

Infant Program
Your infant's day is structured around their needs. We provide a safe loving environment for sleeping, feeding, playing, cuddling, and even outdoor time. We have dedicated teachers here to support your family through the many transitions infants go through in the first months.
Preschool Program
Our preschool program, like the rest of our center, is designed to meet the needs of your child. We have a younger preschool option for those new to a childcare setting or being away from home. We also have an older preschool option for those getting ready to transition to kindergarten or ready to advance some skills. We provide engaging activities and work outside as much as possible.
Movers Program
When your infant starts moving and exploring they’ll be ready for our movers program. In this classroom we offer safe opportunities for your little one to explore and work on those crawling and walking skills. Just like our infant program, we still structure their day around their needs while adding more engaging activities.
School Age
We have a variety of options for our school age children; before and after school care, school break care, and summer camp fun! We know this is a unique age where keeping children active and connected with others is a high priority. We utilize the outdoors whenever possible as we work to help children discover their individual interests.
Toddler Program
During this active stage we provide a routine and a safe space for them to engage in daily, themed activities, with lots and lots of time outside to keep their minds and legs moving!

Meet our Director
Danilynn has an excitement and passion for the early childhood years. She has been working with children and families for over 20 years. Her experience includes center Director, camp Director, teacher, coach, swim lesson instructor, counselor, and so much more. As a mom of 2 growing children she has a passion for supporting the whole family during their childcare experience. When she’s not loving on staff and families she enjoys camping, campfires, going for walks in the campground, hanging out with friends; basically anything involved with camping.
